You're right, there is meaning in everything, if you look closely enough. The floor may be standard in its design, but it is unique in its current shape due to the chaotic nature of deterioration. Each stone is uniquely shaped. Each has a different pattern of dirt and grass on it. Some stones aren't covered in grass, presumably because they are in such positions where they received more wear over the years. Either people or animals walked here to trample it, or maybe it's just more exposed to the elements. But at the edges and the corners of the room, that is where grass flourishes, as well as bushes. You begin to see a story unfold, a story which you percieve through a single moment in time, but you are aware of everything that lead up to this point. A lot has happened since this building was abandoned, and each event leaves a tiny mark - maybe a crack in the stone, maybe just some damage to the vegetation that's trying to take over, but a mark nonetheless.
